Job description
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst to provide interim support during a 3-4 month period. This individual will partner closely with internal business and technology stakeholders to develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reporting solutions supporting operational, ERP, ESG, and maintenance-related data initiatives. This position is remote in the US., * Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and support semantic data models and reporting solutions
- Utilize Power Query (M), DAX, and SQL to transform and analyze data
- Support ERP and operational reporting initiatives across the business
- Gather and interpret user requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
- Modify and optimize existing dashboards, visualizations, and KPI reporting
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT resources to improve reporting capabilities
- Develop production-grade analytics solutions with scalability and performance in mind
- Support ongoing enhancements and reporting requests in a rapidly evolving environment
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Power BI professional who can quickly ramp up in a fast-paced environment, work independently with minimal oversight, and deliver production-grade dashboards, reporting, and data models., * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in Power BI development and business intelligence reporting
- Advanced proficiency with:
- Power BI
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Power Query (M)
- SQL / T-SQL
- Experience building and maintaining semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of relational databases, ERP data structures, and data modeling concepts
- Experience working with large operational datasets
- Ability to independently manage priorities and work with ambiguous business requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
