Job description
Join our team as a Systems Engineer where you will provide system-level engineering support as part of a cross-functional team working on complex electromechanical systems. We are hiring both level II engineers with 2+ years of experience and mid-level engineers with 5+ years. Your role will focus on requirements, system documentation, design reviews, and supporting programs across the full system lifecycle., * Support system-level engineering activities across concept, design, integration, test, and transition to production.
- Write and maintain technical documentation such as requirements, specifications, interface documents, compliance matrices, and test plans.
- Help develop and document engineering processes and standards to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare documentation for and support system design and review events (SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
- Work directly with customers to define requirements and ensure alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
- Identify and help solve moderate-complexity engineering problems in a timely manner.
- Apply and support digital engineering and MBSE practices where appropriate.

Requirements
- Proficiency in systems engineering, requirements development, and traceability.
- Experience with verification and validation (V&V) processes.
- Familiarity with tools like DOORS for documentation and configuration management.
- Understanding of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) with experience in SysML, Cameo, and MATLAB.
- Ability to work with sonar, weapon systems, and underwater technology., * Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree (experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).
- Experience using DOORS or DOORS Next Generation (DNG).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and SharePoint.
- Exposure to data analysis or data science tools.
- Electro-mechanical hardware design experience.
- Familiarity with naval systems or naval operations.
- Experience with tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architect, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groton, CT. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
