Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support large-scale healthcare data modernization and integration initiatives. This role will focus on the design, development, and management of enterprise data pipelines, integration workflows, data migration strategies, and analytical infrastructure supporting critical public health data operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-based ETL,ELT development, SQL optimization, Python-based data engineering, and healthcare data integration within highly regulated environments. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience architecting scalable data pipelines across cloud platforms including Azure, GCP, and AWS while supporting enterprise analytics, data governance, and interoperability initiatives. Candidates with healthcare, HIPAA, HL7, or FHIR experience are highly preferred. This position will collaborate closely with IT teams, Informatics, Digital Transformation, Digital Products, stakeholders, and vendor teams to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant data solutions.
