Job description
- Develop, deploy, and maintain software solutions and data pipelines, heavily utilizing Python and Apache Kafka, to support intelligence workflows.
- Conduct reverse engineering on varying systems, data streams, or software to extract mission-relevant insights and integrate them into existing architectures.
- Build, consume, and manage RESTful web services to facilitate the processing and dissemination of intelligence data.
- Operate and manage deployments within Linux environments using containerization technologies (Docker / Podman).
- Apply statistical analysis techniques to evaluate datasets, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making for the mission.
- Maintain operational agility, rapidly pivoting between software development, analysis, and engineering tasks as mission priorities shift. \
- Communicate technical information in the form of visual updates, technical reports, and/or briefings to government leaders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
ARS is seeking a full-time, agile, and skilled Software Engineer/Intel Analyst to support fast-paced development and delivery of support products for mission. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of Intelligence Community (IC) products and services, combined with software development and analytical capabilities. This role requires a dynamic problem-solver who can rapidly context-switch between disparate tasks and seamlessly blend engineering with intelligence analysis., * Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Clearance: Must hold a current, active TS/SCI clearance.
- Technical Versatility: Hands-on experience with reverse engineering, REST API integration, and Linux systems administration/containerization (Docker/Podman).
- Operational Agility: Demonstrated ability to work fast, adapt to evolving requirements, and switch tasks seamlessly without loss of momentum., * IC Experience: Strong, proven background working with Intelligence Community products, services, and reporting standards.
- Domain Knowledge: Background or subject matter expertise in the Maritime domain (e.g., maritime intelligence, vessel tracking, naval operations, or related maritime datasets).
- Analytical Skills: Formal education or strong practical background in statistical analysis and data modeling.
