Job description

  • Innovation Leadership: Champion the discovery and implementation of novel AI methodologies to enhance the security and efficacy of automated driving functions.
  • Architectural Strategy: Conceptualize and build robust technical frameworks capable of navigating a wide array of situational and environmental conditions (Operating Design Domains).
  • Industry Influence: Shape the future of applied artificial intelligence within the robotics and automotive sectors, maintaining a position at the forefront of global technological trends.
  • Strategic Design: Address the complex hurdles of real-world deployment by creating versatile architectures that remain effective across diverse geographical and operational settings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • A minimum of five years in the automated driving (ADAS/ADS) industry.
  • A proven track record of successfully launching autonomous products into real-world markets.
  • Deep technical mastery of modern AI paradigms, including reinforcement learning (RL), world modeling, Vision-Language-Action (VLA) structures, and comprehensive end-to-end neural networks.
  • Previous work focused on the safety-critical aspects of advanced mobility systems.
  • A history of contributing to major international academic forums (such as CVPR) is considered a significant advantage.
  • An energetic and inspiring leadership style with the ability to motivate interdisciplinary teams.
  • Full professional command of the English language; additional proficiency in German or Chinese is highly desirable.
  • Availability for international business travel (approximately one-quarter of the time).
