Job description
- You will contribute to the cross-platform libraries powering Photoroom on iOS, Android, and the Web, directly impacting millions of users.
- You will architect, develop, and deliver complex features used by in-house app developers in exciting new technologies such as Rust, WebAssembly, and wgpu.
- You will own your work from A to Z: from specification and implementation to integration on the target platform, working hand-in-hand with our product, web, and mobile teams to ensure a consistent Photoroom experience across all platforms.
- You will contribute to our live collaboration platform (like Figma or Google Docs).
- You will work within a small multicultural team of ~120 passionate, friendly, and committed people.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * You have proven experience developing software with Rust; experience in C/C++ is also very much appreciated. You have some understanding of at least one higher-level language (e.g. Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript) and are not afraid to learn more.
- You have experience delivering cross-platform client-side code that provides simple interfaces to handle complex tasks.
- You have a strong sense of ownership - you take initiative and are comfortable making both product and technical decisions.
- You have worked as part of a talented team and have experience in a fast-growing start-up.
- You are fluent in English (French is not required).
- Nice to have: Experience with OpenGL, Metal, WebGPU, WebAssembly, Elixir, or Erlang.

Note: Visa sponsorship and relocation support are only available for positions based in France. We cannot sponsor visas for remote positions outside of France.
Hiring Process
- Screening call with Talent Manager or Hiring Manager (30 min)
- Technical interview with a member of the cross-platform team (45 min)
- Take-home technical assignment and live review with the team (45 min)
- Culture fit interviews and meet the team (~3h in total)
