Are you the next to be reeled in? On behalf of our partner, Smurfit Westrock, we are looking for the best talent to join Rindus. Smurfit Westrock is an FTSE 100 company and one of the world's leading providers of paper-based packaging, with operations in 40 countries and more than 500 packaging converting plants. With the company's headquarters in the Netherlands, you will work as part of a newly established distributed team from our office in Málaga.To drive the continuous evolution of Smurfit Westrock's core business application-a critical system managing sales, invoicing, logistics, and shipping-we are seeking an Angular Frontend Developer. In this role, you will play a key part in scaling the platform by architecting new modules and optimizing existing ones.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Development of the new application and its features, ensuring high code quality across the entire ecosystem.
  • Collaborate within an international, distributed team, fostering a high-performance culture based on Agile methodologies.
  • Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial architecture to final deployment.
  • Influence the decision-making process from day one, contributing to the project's technical direction.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders-including Developers, Team Leads, Architects, QAs, and Product Designer-to go through complex business challenges.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Core Web Technologies: coding skills in HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), and Modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Angular Specialist: At least 3 years of professional experience with Angular; experience with Angular 19/20 and latest features
  • Hands-on experience with NgRx or similar state management libraries.
  • Testing skills: experience in Unit Testing (Karma/Jasmine) and Integration Testing to ensure robust deliverables.
  • Software Craftsmanship: A track record of writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, with a proactive approach to Code Quality and Code Reviews.
  • Analytical Mindset: Passionate about building complex software products with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Comfortable and effective working in a fully English-speaking environment.

  • Experience with Storybook and Design System-driven Development.
  • Experience with E2E testing frameworks such as Playwright.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve developer productivity (e.g., code assistants, agents, or similar solutions).
  • Experience working as a Full-Stack developer or in close collaboration with backend teams.
  • Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Node.js or .NET.
  • Experience designing or consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
  • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for debugging and data validation.
  • Understanding of backend concepts such as data modeling, performance, and API design.
