We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Quality Manager and Trade Support - IBERIA to work in a truly global environment. Supporting our General Manager and trading team, the role will include internal and external quality work alongside technical customer support for new and existing clients. This is alongside administrative and reporting tasks to support coordination across multiple departments. This role provides excellent long-term development potential for an individual eager to demonstrate their skills and experience within the fast-paced soft commodities sector., * Lead Sample Room management, coordinating the flow and traceability of coffee samples from origin to customer approval.
- Conduct physical and sensorial assessment of green coffee samples when required, maintaining accurate quality records and communicating findings to trading and logistics teams.
- Support Quality and Food Safety compliance by partnering with HSQE teams on IFS recertification activities, documentation management and client communications.
- Supporting communication on quality topics, particularly sample approval processes and status updates, including systematic recording, performance analysis and responding to sample-related queries.
- Collaborate with trading teams across IBERIA and origin offices to support execution of global trading strategies and customer requirements.
- Work closely with logistics, finance and planning teams to ensure smooth transaction flows, inventory planning, customer service and timely issue resolution.
- Provide operational, analytical and commercial support to traders, enabling efficient execution and supporting strategic business growth.
- Execute daily sales administration, fixations and release of goods, ensuring contracts, quality requirements and delivery timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate CRM and operational records, tracking opportunities, customer activity and pipeline progress.
- Support onboarding and compliance processes for counterparties, working with global teams to meet risk management and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in business administration, international trade, supply chain, finance or related field.
- Fluent in business Spanish and English, with language skills in Portuguese or French an advantage.
- Certified Q-Grader certificate or equivalent would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience using analytical and visualisation tools including PowerBI and Tableau is desirable.
- Good understanding of futures markets and basic hedging principles.
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and certifications is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures.
- Proactive, analytical and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset.
