We are on the lookout for a talented and dynamic individual to become a ERP Project Officer within Muzulu's PMO.
Main Responsibilities
This is an opportunity for a skilled individual who can provide effective Project management and support to individual ERP projects.
The Project Officer will report into the Head of PMO and ensure their projects run smoothly and support larger projects with administration tasks.
A Project Officer will be responsible for the delivery and commercial success for smaller projects and standalone pieces of work.
· Support the Head of PMO with managing project administration, resource planning, assigning and tracking work packages and task scheduling.
· Take a lead role in scheduling customer facing activities such as meetings, workshops, training and senior stakeholder events.
· Providing day to day oversight and management of project activities for projects.
· Take a lead role in the production of key project reporting metrics such as budget, deliverable, resource consumption and performance.
· Monitoring project budgets.
· Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
· Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for smaller projects
· Contribute to development of PMO processes and procedures, including Implementation methodologies.
· Contribute to steering groups and committees, gate reviews and stakeholder meetings.
· Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
· Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders on any assigned smaller projects
· Support the Head of PMO to ensure that Muzulu's projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
· Contribute to Muzulu's 'Hive knowledge repository' to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration
· Take opportunities to be a positive role model for Muzulu's Vision, Mission and Values
· Undertake professional development opportunities as deemed appropriate.
· Adhere to Muzulu's policies and procedures.
· Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within Muzulu.
· To actively promote Muzulu in a positive and professional manner at all times.
· To undertake any other duties which might reasonably be deemed within the status of the job and appropriate to the post.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, Past Experience: Been involved in the management or administration of IT projects.
Desirable :
· Proficient at Microsoft Project
· Good MS Word / Powerpoint /Excel
· Understanding/Awareness of project management principles, methods and techniques including Prince 2, Agile and Scrum, * Involved in managing IT projects: 1 year (required)
- ERP Project Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Involved in ERP projects: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Project: 1 year (preferred)
