Design Engineer

• Designing and developing innovative products for manufacture
• Producing accurate technical and manufacturing drawings
• Managing projects from concept and quotation stage through to production and delivery
• Meeting with customers to understand and interpret design requirements
• Creating assembly drawings and initial Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Supporting manufacturing and data support teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Liaising with suppliers and supporting purchasing/procurement activities
• Researching industry trends, competitor products, and manufacturing advancements
• Working collaboratively within a fast-paced project environment

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, We are looking for someone who is creative, organised, and passionate about product design and manufacturing., * A degree in Product Design and/or proven experience within a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design software
• A strong technical understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• A strong design background
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SketchUp or Revit would be advantageous but not essential, * A quick learner with the ability to work independently and use initiative
• Proactive and confident in solving problems
• Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn
• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects

A full UK driving licence would be beneficial due to occasional site visits, although this is not essential.
