Job description

A top-tier consultancy is seeking an experienced Data Integration Engineer to join a high-profile project for a global leader in the automotive industry. This role sits at the intersection of legacy data excellence and modern cloud architecture, focusing on a high-stakes migration and integration between Oracle and Salesforce.

You will join an elite Software Engineering team, taking ownership of a complex data landscape to design strategies for moving, synchronising, and validating massive volumes of customer data.

As a Data Integration Engineer you will have the following responsibilities

  • Lead the move of large customer datasets from Oracle to Salesforce, ensuring no records are lost or duplicated.
  • Act as the technical expert for the database layer, writing the code and schemas needed for smooth data flow.
  • Build and manage secure API bridges to link platforms and allow them to share data efficiently.
  • Identify synchronisation gaps and implement cleaning routines to keep information accurate.

Requirements

  • Oracle/PL/SQL: 3+ years building complex business logic, packages, and data aggregations.
  • Salesforce - Expert-level experience in high-level Salesforce integration and architecture.
  • System Analysis: 5+ years managing end-to-end data flows within complex, integrated IT ecosystems.
  • Proficient in RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and Postman for remote system management.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Databases or Kafka data streaming is highly desirable
