Job description

At Delt, we deliver critical digital and ICT services that support organisations and communities across the South West, and we're looking for a Systems Administrator to help us continually improve the systems that keep our business running effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience supporting or administering enterprise applications who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working closely with users to deliver real operational value.

You'll play a key role in the administration, support, and ongoing development of Delt's internal digital platforms, helping ensure systems are secure, reliable, efficient, and aligned to business needs.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll provide hands-on administration and operational support across a range of internal systems and platforms. You'll work closely with product owners, service teams, and users across the organisation to help maintain, improve, and evolve the way our systems support the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and configuring internal systems and platforms
  • Managing users, permissions, workflows, forms, automation, and reporting
  • Supporting platform incidents, service requests, and user queries
  • Assisting with upgrades, releases, and configuration changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Maintaining system documentation and knowledge articles
  • Supporting governance, compliance, and security standards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in System administration?, We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering great internal system support. You'll be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical colleagues and able to balance operational support with longer-term improvement activity.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience supporting or administering enterprise applications or business systems
  • Understanding of platform configuration including workflows, forms, automation, and permissions
  • Experience working within structured IT support or service environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative and customer-focused approach

Experience with platforms such as Wrike, ServiceNow, or similar tools would be advantageous, alongside knowledge of ITIL practices, system governance, or process improvement approaches., * System administration: 2 years (preferred)
