Job description
- Oversee all engineering operations, including mechanical and plumbing design, drafting, and coordination
- Set and implement design standards, quality control processes, and project delivery strategies
- Provide executive-level oversight on large, high-profile projects from concept through construction
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams across multiple office locations
- Collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and field operations to ensure alignment and constructability
- Serve as the technical authority and decision-maker for complex design challenges
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to long-term strategic planning
Requirements
This is a strategic leadership role with oversight of multidisciplinary engineering teams, processes, and project execution. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, proven people leadership, and a strong background in design-build delivery., * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical system design and engineering leadership, preferably in a design-build or contractor setting
- Proven track record leading multi-discipline engineering teams on large commercial or institutional projects
- Expertise in Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of BIM coordination workflows
- Experience working on healthcare, life science, laboratory, or similarly complex building @types
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
