Fidessa Developer

• Support multiple Fidessa trading systems.
• Integrate Fidessa systems into the company's technology stack.
• Upgrade product components on a regular basis.
• Work with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements.
• Onboard systems to DevOps CI/CD tools.

This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer within a financial technology organization. The group supports institutional and retail equities trading desks. The position involves developing, enhancing, and supporting multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa trading platform. A successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Fidessa architecture and a proven track record of performing product upgrades., Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.

Experience: 3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experience. Experience in Equities, Global Markets, Order Management, and Post-Trade is required.

Technical Skills:

• Fidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA.
• FIX protocol.
• Platforms: Windows 10/11, Linux.
• Scripting: TCL, Python, Unix shell scripting, PowerShell.
• Databases: Sybase, MS SQL Server.
• Distributed system design, messaging, and event processing.
• Messaging frameworks: AMPS, IBM MQ, Tibco EMS.
• Automated testing frameworks.
• Agile SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
• AI tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of core Java development experience.
• Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience.
• FTW development experience.

The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $70.00 per hour.
