Java Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a Java Lead to design and implement scalable enterprise systems and data architectures. This role involves leading development efforts, defining architectural strategies, and ensuring high-quality delivery of microservices-based solutions in a cloud-enabled environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, deep expertise in Java-based technologies, and experience in enterprise application development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture Define and implement data architecture aligned with business and enterprise standards Lead technical strategy, architecture decisions, and system design Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Ensure adherence to best practices in scalability, performance, and system reliability Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD and continuous improvement Mentor and guide junior developers and technical teams Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture Experience with RESTful services, Kafka, and distributed systems Experience with big data or streaming technologies (e.g., Spark, Flink) Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in banking, payments, or financial services domains Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure Familiarity with tools such as Swagger or Ab Initio Experience with automation tools and workflow platforms Experience in enterprise-scale system design and implementation Education: Bachelors Degree
