Job description

  • Manage and maintain computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals across various operating systems such as Windows and macOS
  • Troubleshoot software problems related to Microsoft Office applications, operating systems, and specialized enterprise tools like ServiceNow and Jira
  • Configure and support computer networking components including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity
  • Assist with hardware setup, installation, upgrades, and repairs for computer hardware components
  • Monitor IT infrastructure health using tools like BMC Remedy and help desk systems to track incidents and service requests
  • Communicate clearly with users to explain technical issues in an understandable manner while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, * Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer management and troubleshooting techniques

  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network security protocols
  • Hands-on experience with software troubleshooting across various applications including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to manage computer hardware components and perform routine maintenance tasks effectively
  • Experience working with help desk platforms like ServiceNow or Jira to document incidents and track resolutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to assist users of varying technical proficiency in a friendly and professional manner
