Job description
As a Platform Engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you'll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you'll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
You'll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you'll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms .
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining platforms and integration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Helm, EKS, and Ceph
- Experience with containerization technologies, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including GitLab
- Experience writing automation and provisioning scripts such as Ansible playbooks, Linux automation, Windows PowerShell, or basic API integrations
- Experience administering storage and networking environments and performing network and requirement analysis, system availability reviews, and risk assessments
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience migrating applications in hybrid cloud, disconnected, or air-gapped environments
- Experience supporting enterprise air-gapped environments
- Experience with configuration management and Git-centric CI/CD workflows
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments and practices
- Knowledge of the ZT technology ecosystem, including ZTNA, IDP, DLP, EDR, XDR, MFA, data tagging, or comply to connection (C2C)
- Knowledge of leading ICAM solutions, including Ping, AD, or LDAP, and how they are part of the ZT ecosystem

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
