Job description
As a senior member of the Process Analysis & Automation Team, the Automation Engineer (Sr.) will design, develop, implement, and support enterprise automation solutions with a strong focus on the Microsoft Power Platform-including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, analyze workflows, and deploy scalable, governed solutions aligned to organizational objectives.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in automation tools such as:
Microsoft Power Platform (including the COE) -- THIS IS REQUIRED
Scripting languages (Python, JSON)
Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, BPMN)
Understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations, The ideal candidate demonstrates deep expertise in Power Platform engineering, automation lifecycle management, and low-code solution architecture.
This role also plays a key part in enabling and governing citizen development by training business users, implementing governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and regulatory mandates. Continuous improvement, innovation, and a strong understanding of both technical systems and business processes are essential.
Demonstrated experience in automation tools such as:

Scripting languages (Python, JSON)
Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, BPMN)
Understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git) and agile methodologies
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Really need a Power platform expert. Actively involved in standing this up in another organization. Been involved from requirements gathering all the way to deployments. They are being asked to move quickly so they need to come in and get moving. Very strong communication skills. Confident interacting with the business…especially from a non-technical perspective. SMEs that aren't technical and need this person to lead them through that process. Comfortable being forward facing with the business.
Requiring to sit on site in Carmel for 4 days/week with 1 floating remote day.
Power Platform is the #1 technology. Know about a center of excellence around this. Most use cases have been in the Python development space. Need an expert to lead the other side. 50/50 in functional versus technical development. Trained to work in Agile fashion and sprint cycles. Secondary skills: Python, JSON are going to be the main ones. Main one is going to be Python.
Minimum at least 5 years experience. Can't be a junior candidate. Need to be self sufficient. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
