Job description

Partner with the Director of Business Operations to lead the administration and evolution of the resource scheduling system and associated reporting for Production Operations. This role operates at the intersection of Systems, Operations, and Finance, ensuring alignment between tools, processes, and financial outcomes. Manage and develop the team responsible for scheduling tool requests and Tier 1 support, ensuring efficient operations, high service quality, and consistent user experience. Serve as a key liaison across Production and Technical Operations, aligning workflows, driving system adoption, and supporting cross-functional initiatives., Scheduling Tool (MediaPulse) Administration:

  • Own end-to-end MediaPulse administration for Production Operations, including system governance, workflow design, user experience, communications, and issue resolution.

  • Serve as the cross-divisional lead for MediaPulse, driving workflow alignment, system adoption, and continuous optimization to support evolving business and operational requirements.

  • Partner with vendor and IT teams to manage system performance, lead issue resolution, and define and execute the MediaPulse product roadmap.

  • Own training strategy and enablement for Production Operations, partnering with Tech Training to deliver scalable programs and ensure consistent, effective system utilization.

  • Lead the work order reconciliation function, including team oversight, operational support channels (shared Inbox and Slack), and development of standardized processes and documentation to ensure data accuracy and operational continuity. Reporting & Financial Management:

  • Own data governance for Production Operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data delivered to partners, leadership, and Finance.

  • Own the reporting function end-to-end, including oversight, quality control, and delivery of monthly hard cost, resource utilization, and ad hoc reporting. Project Management:

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing system enhancements and integrations across HR, Finance, and other enterprise functions.

  • Partner with global MediaPulse user groups to align on enhancement priorities, share best practices, and influence system evolution at scale.

Requirements

  1. Expertise in resource management, large-scale data analysis, and optimization of scheduling and reporting systems, including hands-on experience with MediaPulse and data visualization tools. a. 5+ years
  2. Advanced Excel proficiency required, including complex pivot tables, data modeling, and the ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets with a high degree of accuracy. a. 5+ years
  3. Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, with the ability to support reporting and analysis. a. 5+ years

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

  1. Working knowledge of (or passion for) Production and the Sports and Entertainment Industry as a whole.
  2. SQL coding experience.

Soft Skills:

  1. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Finance, Technology, and Production teams, with a track record of driving alignment and delivering results in complex environments.
  2. Strong financial acumen, with proven experience in budget management, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  3. Clear and effective communicator, able to translate complex data and system concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Experience with systems administration and data management, including familiarity with system integrations and data governance principles.
  5. Strong understanding of the media, entertainment, and technology landscape, including industry structure, key players, and evolving business models.
  6. Familiarity with streaming platforms and digital content ecosystems.
  7. Experience operating within a national or global organization, navigating cross-regional teams and complexity.
  8. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and limited structure.

Technology Requirements:
