- Repair and replace computer components such as motherboards, hard drives, RAM, and soldering connections using hand tools and schematics.
- Perform software troubleshooting to resolve system errors, malware infections, and operating system malfunctions.
- Conduct repairs on mobile devices and tablets, ensuring proper functioning of screens, batteries, and internal components.
- Utilize technical analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical support to customers both in-store and in the field by explaining repair processes clearly.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs on complex electronic circuits and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures for quality assurance.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proficiency with multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Skilled in soldering techniques for circuit repair and component replacement.
- Experience with using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, anti-static wrist straps, etc., for precise repairs.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for complex electronic repairs.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with mobile device repair procedures for smartphones and tablets.
