Job description

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
  • Drive end-to-end, UI, and API automation initiatives using Tosca and Selenium
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define testing strategies and quality goals
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
  • Perform test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across teams
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Qualitest is seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Senior Test Automation Engineer for a Full-Time Permanent position based in New York City, NY, with a Hybrid work model (4 days onsite per week).

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering, with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and Tricentis Tosca. This role requires hands-on experience in automation framework design, development, and maintenance, along with the ability to collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to drive quality engineering initiatives., * 10+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation

  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • Java
  • Selenium (4/5 proficiency)
  • Tricentis Tosca (4/5 proficiency)
  • Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (3/5 proficiency)
  • Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and design
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
  • Exposure to Playwright automation
  • Experience with qTest, VersionOne, and AI-assisted tools such as Cursor AI or similar platforms
  • Healthcare domain knowledge including payer, provider, claims, EHR, or HIPAA compliance
