Job description

As a QA Technician, you will conduct product testing, review customer orders, and monitor production quality. This role offers the opportunity to build and refine skills related to quality systems and customer-focused responsibilities. You will be responsible for product disposition, including the approval of products, packaging materials, and labels, as well as managing the hold and release of inventory. The QA Technician is committed to producing high-quality, safe food that meets our customers' exacting expectations, enhances our reputation, keeps our employees safe, and protects the environment.

  • Perform finished product, in-process, and raw material testing; document results in required systems.
  • Review results against specifications and determine product disposition (accept, hold, or reject).
  • Prepare and manage reject reports and pallet tags; ensure accuracy and timely removal of voided tags.
  • Maintain retain and control samples, including labeling, organization, recordkeeping, and sample pulls.
  • Conduct rechecks and retesting of held products to support disposition decisions.
  • Complete packaging line and weight audits, including HACCP, date codes, seals, and reporting.
  • Perform production walkthroughs and communicate quality concerns to operators or supervisors.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness, calibrate equipment, follow GMP/HACCP/allergen/safety requirements, and support special projects or training as assigned., Disclaimer We may use artificial intelligence tools to support the review and assessment of applications and assist with scheduling interviews. Requirements

Associates diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma required.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within Quality Assurance in food manufacturing preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Computer proficiency preferred.
