As a Staff Software Engineer, your primary focus will be to architect, build, and optimize our platform across the stack, from scalable frontend applications to high-performance backend services. At this level, you'll be expected to drive technical excellence across multiple teams, shape engineering direction, and stay hands-on in the code where it matters most.
You'll lead major technical initiatives, influence architecture and best practices, mentor engineers, and partner closely with product, design, data, QA, and engineering leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong systems thinking, and can translate long-term technical strategy into practical execution.
What You'll Do
- Architect, build, and maintain our full-stack platform, including React.js applications and high-performance backend services built with Node.js, GraphQL, and REST API's
- Lead technical decisions across the stack, balancing performance, maintainability, scalability, and developer experience
- Design and optimize APIs and service patterns that support both our product experiences and third-party integrations
- Improve database design, query performance, and data models to ensure efficient storage and retrieval at scale
- Drive observability and operational excellence across services through logging, monitoring, tracing, alerting, and performance analysis
- Contribute to and lead engineering-wide initiatives that improve customer experience, system performance, productivity, and knowledge sharing
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, patterns, and tooling that improve engineering efficiency and platform quality
- Define and reinforce strong testing practices across the stack in partnership with QA and engineering teams
- Mentor engineers through technical design reviews, architecture discussions, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Influence multiple engineering groups through technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration, not just direct ownership, Must-Have Skills, * You'll have the opportunity to influence the technical direction of a rapidly scaling platform and help shape how we build as an engineering organization

Requirements
Do you have experience in Test automation?, * 8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong depth in modern JavaScript/TypeScript environments and experience leading large technical initiatives
- Strong experience building and evolving full-stack systems, with meaningful expertise in both frontend and backend architecture
- Deep experience with Node.js, GraphQL (Apollo or Relay), and RESTful services in production systems
- Strong experience with React.js and scalable frontend architecture, including performance and state management considerations
- Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Experience with event-driven systems, messaging infrastructure, and real-time data processing
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable deployment practices
- Track record of mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar through influence, clarity, and execution
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to align engineers and partners across teams
Nice To Have Skils
- Experience with Python for backend services, tooling, or automation workflows
- Experience improving design systems or UI platform foundations in partnership with frontend teams
- Experience leading initiatives that span platformization, service architecture, APIs, or financial/accounting systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
