Job description
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Network Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. Duties Include:
- Perform network code upgrades and firewall changes across an enterprise environment
- Support core enterprise networking workflows, including routing and switching
- Execute and support global network and hardware swaps
- Contribute to DNS and cloud transformation initiatives
- Ensure strong network hygiene, stability, and operational readiness
- Operate within a highly regulated environment, adhering to strict controls and change processes
- Own implementations and changes end-to-end, including post-change verification and operational handoff
- Participate in incident diagnosis and resolution by taking a clinical, data-driven approach
- Utilize monitoring and scan tools to support troubleshooting and operational health
Requirements

- Palo Alto
- Meraki
- Juniper
Change & Process Management:
- Strong experience with enterprise change management
- Familiarity with change controls, approvals, and change windows
- Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) is a plus
- Highly process-oriented, with strong attention to documentation and operational rigor
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues methodically and effectively
- Brings all relevant data when identifying and resolving network issues
- Situational awareness and strong judgment in high-impact environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
