Job description

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that si seeking a senior-level Cloud Solutions Engineer III to support a highly visible and critical cloud infrastructure environment supporting enterprise AI/ML initiatives. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Azure cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, model deployment support, and cloud operations. This position supports an AI/ML and data science organization responsible for deploying machine learning models into enterprise cloud environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure environments
  • Build, configure, optimize, and automate cloud resources and operational workflows
  • Support AI/ML model deployment infrastructure in Azure environments
  • Partner with AI engineers and data science teams to deploy and manage cloud-hosted models
  • Ensure cloud resources are securely configured and not publicly exposed
  • Support API management and secure endpoint access for deployed AI/ML services
  • Assist with CI/CD deployment pipelines for model deployment workflows
  • Collaborate with development, networking, architecture, and infrastructure teams
  • Support Infrastructure as Code initiatives and future cloud migration efforts
  • Troubleshoot production cloud infrastructure and operational issues
  • Handle cloud provisioning, permissions management, and resource governance
  • Provide ongoing operational support and cloud optimization recommendations

Manage and troubleshoot networking configurations including:

  • Virtual Networks (VNets)
  • Subnets
  • DNS
  • Firewall rules
  • IP restrictions
  • Access controls and permissions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, or systems engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with at least one additional cloud provider (AWS or GCP preferred)
  • Strong networking expertise including: VNets, Subnets, DNS, Firewall configurations, IP management, Secure cloud networking principles
  • Experience securing enterprise cloud environments and managing permissions/access policies
  • Strong scripting and automation experience using: Python, Bash, PowerShell
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Experience working with GitLab repositories and deployment workflows
  • Strong understanding of APIs and API management
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure environments
  • Linux/Unix systems administration experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
  • Ability to work independently and contribute immediately in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting AI/ML or data science teams
  • Experience deploying machine learning models into Azure environments
  • Familiarity with Azure ML Studio
  • Experience with Databricks environments
  • Experience with Terraform and cloud migration initiatives
  • Exposure to GCP migration projects
  • Understanding of enterprise cloud governance and security best practices
  • Familiarity with ITIL or enterprise operational standards

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
