Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Angular/React and Java Spring Boot
- Build modular, reusable UI components integrated with backend REST APIs
- Design and implement microservices and production-grade REST APIs
- Develop event-driven integrations using Kafka (producers/consumers, topics)
- Optimize performance across UI, APIs, and database layers
- Write and tune complex SQL queries; troubleshoot data issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
- Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, and resiliency best practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment processes
- Write unit/component tests and participate in code reviews
- Apply secure coding practices and meet compliance standards
Requirements
- Strong experience with Angular or React (state management, routing, performance)
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend/API development
- Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event-driven systems
- Strong SQL skills (joins, subqueries, aggregations, performance tuning)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and exception handling frameworks
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Understanding of secure coding and regulated environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
