- Provide Tier 1-2 support for end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
- Manage and resolve support tickets using Jira ITSM, ensuring timely and accurate updates and resolution
- Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly communicating technical issues and solutions to non-technical users
- Document support activities, solutions, and knowledge base articles to improve service efficiency
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless support coverage
- Prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet service level expectations
Requirements
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide end-user support across a Microsoft-focused environment. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to effectively manage support requests in a collaborative team setting., * Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Proven troubleshooting skills across desktop hardware, software, and basic networking
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle users professionally and empathetically
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills
Benefits & conditions
This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
