Python Engineer

JOB SUMMARY A Python Engineer is sought to contribute to database infrastructure maintenance and development for a new requirement. This self-sufficient individual will work within a complex environment, building new functionality and maintaining existing infrastructure. The role involves a blend of development and engineering tasks, focusing on database-related infrastructure and automation projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain modules/scripts using Python and Bash for database infrastructure and automation projects. Perform development unit level testing and integration testing. Contribute to new functionality development and maintenance of existing infrastructure. Work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Deliver projects on time. Required Qualifications Strong Python scripting skills. Experience with revision control systems. Strong Unix shell scripting skills, particularly Korn Shell. Good practical knowledge of, Linux-level database

infrastructure, (e.g., checking network status), not DBA-level expertise. Understanding of scripting is a core requirement. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Perl. Education: Bachelors Degree
