Job description

  • Define and implement scalable data pipeline architectures, including Medallion Architecture and tiered data structures
  • Lead adoption of managed and serverless cloud offerings across lakehouse and warehouse platforms
  • Drive best practices for ETL/ELT workflows, data governance, and data quality using tools like dbt and Fivetran
  • Enforce data security and access control policies across all pipelines and platforms
  • Ensure robust BI integrations across heterogeneous environments (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Serve as a client-facing technical leader, presenting complex architectural decisions to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on data engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Mastery of Python and advanced SQL
  • Deep expertise in ETL/ELT optimization, dimensional modeling, and data security
  • Expertise across 3-5 major platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Azure, or Fabric
  • Extensive CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience
  • Proven ability to lead client engagements and influence technical direction in a consulting environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript/Java
  • Consulting experience
