Job description
The Quality Manager is responsible for the implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement of the TCS Quality Management System on assigned projects. This role carries independent authority over quality, serves as the primary quality liaison with clients and third-party inspectors.
This is a hands-on leadership role that includes field presence, conducting inspections and testing, documentation control, and mentoring of personnel., Quality Leadership & Authority
- Implement and manage the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans
- Exercise stop-work authority when quality or specification compliance is at risk
- Serve as the primary quality point of contact with owners, clients, and third-party inspectors
- Lead quality meetings, audits, and customer walk-downs
Inspection & Technical Oversight
- Conduct piping and weld inspections to ASME B31.3 and applicable project specifications
- Ensure weld documentation, weld maps, and weld logs are accurate and complete
- Oversee material receiving inspections, traceability, and documentation
- Verify fabrication dimensions, tolerances, and cleanliness requirements
- Coordinate and witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
- Review and approve inspection and test records prior to turnover
Requirements
Do you have experience in Record keeping?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Minimum 10 years experience working in and around cleanroom or high-purity environments
- Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.3 piping systems
- Hands-on experience performing mechanical and piping inspections
- Experience with weld documentation and inspection records
- Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as the sole QC representative onsite
- Must pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to smock up and work in a clean room environment
- Working at heights, must be able to bend, lift, twist, climb, stoop and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Prior experience as a Quality Manager, Lead QC, or Senior Inspector
- Semiconductor or high-purity piping experience
- Experience coordinating with third-party inspection agencies
Compensation is based on experience, demonstrated capability, and scope of responsibility. Typical compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $40 per hour. Exceptional candidates with deep semiconductor or high purity experience may be considered above this range., * Do you have the ability to use tools such as turning wrenches for tightening fittings and reading tape measures to verify dimensions.
