Job description
- Understand requirements and implement them as directed with minimal dependency on other team members
- Develop Java EE applications while following guidance from technical leads
- Understand how to write code which is reusable, maintainable, and performant
- Write javadoc for every method and class with a proper and detailed explanation
- Complete day-to-day tasks on time and deliver as promised
- Write SQL queries and use JPA within the application
- Write JUnits for modules
- Technical troubleshooting and performance tuning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering (or related field), or relevant, related work experience
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Java/JEE (including spring batch, spring boot etc.) with an understanding of time-critical projects with strict deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Java design patterns and implementation
- Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience developing User Interface pages using Prime Faces and developing data service layers with JPA, creating views and stored procedures as needed
- Experience in Azure DevOps
Benefits & conditions
The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $70,000.00-$80,000.00.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 01 individual contributorin a Software Development position.
