ENTEK is excited to welcome a Network Engineer to our team in Lebanon, Oregon. What You'll DoAs a Network Engineer, you'll support the design, implementation, and maintenance of ENTEK's network infrastructure. Working alongside senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams, you'll help ensure reliable connectivity, strong system performance, and secure network operations across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN, WAN, VPN, and VOIP environments
- Troubleshoot network issues and support resolution of connectivity and performance problems
- Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related network devices
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts
- Monitor network performance and support proactive maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and inventory records
- Provide technical support to users on network-related technologies and issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to network reliability and performance
- Help ensure network systems align with security and operational standards
- Work collaboratively with infrastructure and IT support teams to maintain stable operations
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Requirements: What We're Looking ForWe're seeking a motivated IT professional with strong technical curiosity, troubleshooting skills, and a desire to grow within network engineering and infrastructure operations., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Hands-on experience with network equipment including routers and switches
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA certification or equivalent
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios
- Basic understanding of network security principles and practices
- Familiarity with cloud networking platforms such as AWS or Azure
Benefits & conditions
This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday, day shift. Additional hours and occasional travel may be required to support operational and project needs.
