Website Designer

Our growing boutique agency is looking to add a talented Website Designer (Remote) to the team. This is a mid-level role that serves as an integral team member across multiple client accounts.

As a Part-Time Web Designer, you will work closely with our Account Manager and VP of Client Services to design and build client-facing websites; from fresh builds and redesigns to e-commerce solutions and ongoing maintenance. You'll collaborate with our wider design team as project needs arise, making this a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Note that this position is part-time at 20 hours a week, but has the potential to become full-time based on performance and experience

Here's What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and develop modern, on-brand websites based on the clients goals. Ensuring all websites are visually appealing, functional, ADA compliant + mobile responsive
• Set up e-commerce, appointment booking or online ordering, based on the clients needs, incorporating SEO, AIO + GEO
• Provide detailed, knowledgeable insights + recommendations to both the team and clients
• Manage multiple client accounts and act as point of contact, communicating with the client on a regular basis, through email + Microsoft Teams meetings
• Effectively develop and manage project schedules, deadlines, deliverables, and expectations (with in-house team as well as clients)
• Contribute to a positive, can-do attitude, internally and externally, communicating with the team on a regular basis with status updates, Team Tools We Use (knowledge not required, familiarity a plus):

Do you have experience in WordPress?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * You have experience building and designing websites with the following website platforms:

• You have a strong understanding of UX/UI best practices, SEO, AIO + GEO, domains, hosting + DNS settings
• You are proficient in design tools including Figma + Adobe Creative Suite

• You regularly proofread, research, fact-check work as necessary to ensure accuracy and enjoy coming up with new ways to look at problems and processes in your work
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (in-person, verbal, and written), with the ability to communicate regularly, professionally and clearly with both the Positive Solutions Team and clients as needed
• You have an understanding of deadlines and urgency that comes with client service, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Not Required, But Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with coding (HTML/CSS/Java)
• Marketing agency experience
• Social Media marketing experience (organic + paid)
• Google Ads, GA4 + Google My Business experience (organic + paid)
• Email marketing experience (Constant Contact preferred)
• Graphic design + copywriting skills
• Small business or nonprofit website experience, Required: Associate, Bachelor or certification in website design/development or a related field of study. 3+ years of proven experience in website design and development. Please provide a portfolio in either website or PDF format, that shows demonstrated web design experience including links to current live website examples
