Information Security Engineer (Network)

Senior Information Security Engineer / Cyber Security Specialist Location: Leuven Type: Full-time, contract-based We are looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Engineer to strengthen our cyber security capabilities and help protect critical digital infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, monitoring, and mitigating cyber security risks across multiple layers of the IT environment. You will work closely with security and operational teams to investigate incidents, manage vulnerabilities, and improve the overall security posture of the organization. Key responsibilities Monitor security events and incidents as part of a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment Investigate suspicious activities, analyze root causes, and coordinate remediation actions Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools to ensure effective detection and protection Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses Manage
