Job description

You will play a key role in transforming and analysing cyber-related data across NATO systems, supporting both the Cyber Response Repository and the Cyber Defence Pledge (CDP) initiative.

Your work will ensure data is accurate, consistent, and actionable - enabling NATO to understand cyber threat patterns, Allied responses, and resilience trends across member states.

️ What You'll Be Doing

  • Clean, structure, and standardise Allied cyber response and research data
  • Perform data validation, quality assurance, and taxonomy alignment
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing data, and anomalies in datasets
  • Support data integration and testing with engineering teams
  • Produce dashboards, reports, and visual analytics for NATO leadership
  • Analyse Allied cyber response patterns, trends, and threat clusters
  • Support Cyber Defence Pledge (CDP) data analysis and benchmarking cycles
  • Assist in preparing training materials and onboarding documentation
  • Support user training sessions and knowledge sharing with Allies
  • Contribute to improving data models, metadata, and reporting structures

Requirements

  • MANDATORY: NATO SECRET security clearance (active and valid)
  • Minimum 2+ years experience as Data Analyst or similar role
  • Strong experience in:
  • Data cleaning, transformation, and validation
  • Data analysis and visualization
  • Building analytical reports and dashboards
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing and analysis
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary and collaborative environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ArcGIS (ArcGIS Online / Experience Builder)
  • Experience in cybersecurity data analysis
  • Experience in web application or dashboard development
  • Experience creating training materials or user documentation
  • Familiarity with data-driven reporting in government or secure environments
