Job description
The E-Commerce Executive will be responsible for managing and optimising online sales performance across MGM Muthu Hotels' UK portfolio (England & Scotland). The role focuses on driving direct bookings, improving conversion, and supporting digital revenue growth.
This role works closely with UK hotel teams, Marketing, Revenue, and central support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update content, offers, and packages across hotel websites Ensure pricing, promotions, and availability are accurate across online platforms Optimise booking journeys to improve conversion rates and reduce abandonment Support booking engine optimisation and functionality Drive growth in direct online bookings across UK hotels Monitor performance KPIs including conversion rate, revenue, traffic, and average booking value Identify opportunities to improve online sales through promotions, packages, and upselling Support strategies to reduce reliance on third-party booking channels Work closely with Marketing teams on: Website promotions and content updates, Email marketing campaigns AND Paid digital campaigns and landing pages Support seasonal and tactical campaigns across England and Scotland properties Produce regular performance reports for management Analyse customer behaviour, booking trends, and campaign results Provide data-driven recommendations to improve digital performance Liaise with hotel teams to ensure online content reflects the on-property experience Work with central support teams to align e-commerce activity Support new hotel onboarding and updates within the UK portfolio Travel to UK hotels as required (England & Scotland) Ensure online information is clear, accurate, and customer-focused Support a seamless and user-friendly online booking experience Assist with resolving online booking issues where necessary
Requirements
Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online sales Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data Experience working with websites, booking engines, or CMS platforms Understanding of digital customer journeys and conversion optimisation Strong communication and organisational skills Willingness to travel within England and Scotland Hospitality or travel industry experience Experience with hotel booking engines and online distribution Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools Understanding of SEO, CRO, or paid digital marketing Full UK driving licence What We Offer
