Java Developer

The company develops specialist software used within manufacturing and industrial environments and is currently going through a major technology modernisation programme. You'll play a key role in maintaining and evolving existing Java applications while also contributing to future-facing projects involving APIs, integrations and modern development practices.

This role would suit someone who enjoys:

The Role

You'll be involved across the full software development lifecycle, including:

• Developing and maintaining Java applications
• Supporting migration towards newer Java versions
• Enhancing and modernising existing systems
• Building REST APIs and integrations
• Troubleshooting and debugging software issues
• Contributing to testing and code quality improvements
• Working closely with support teams and project staff
• Helping improve development standards, tooling and processes
