FDE / Customer Engineer | London (5 Days Onsite) | Conversational AI / Enterprise SaaS | Hypergrowth AI Startup | Python, APIs, Integrations, LLMs | £150k-£180k + Equity + Benefits
A hypergrowth AI company is building enterprise-grade conversational AI agents used by some of the world's largest brands to automate and transform customer experience across voice, chat, email, and SMS. Backed by top-tier investors and scaling aggressively, they are now building a dedicated technical delivery function responsible for deploying AI agents into complex enterprise environments. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, AI workflows, and customer delivery, helping enterprise customers launch production-grade AI systems that drive measurable business impact.
They are looking for technical, customer-facing engineers with experience delivering complex B2B SaaS solutions end-to-end. This is not a pre-sales role and it's not a traditional software engineering position. You'll spend your time building integrations, configuring workflows, validating AI agent behaviour, and working directly with enterprise stakeholders to ensure successful deployments., The interview process includes an initial screen, Python coding round, take-home case study, and onsite final interviews. Requirements
- 5+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Implementation Engineering, or similar
- Strong Python skills with ability to write production-quality code
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, workflows, and enterprise systems
- Experience delivering technical customer solutions in B2B SaaS environments
- Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders
- Experience with LLMs, AI agents, workflow automation, or conversational systems is highly desirable
- Computer Science, Engineering, or Maths background preferred
