Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain production systems using your strong proficiency in Python and SQL, ideally in a cloud environment such as AWS.
- Design and implement data pipelines and orchestration tools, with experience in frameworks like Dagster.
- Engage with users to understand their workflows and pain points, translating these into technical solutions with a systems-thinking approach.
- Develop solutions for analytical and data-intensive workloads, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Required Experience:
- Some experience in building and operating production systems in an iterative manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Familiarity with developer tools and CI/CD processes (eg, Azure DevOps, Terraform).
- Knowledge of modern data platforms, ideally including Snowflake.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with .Net, particularly C#, and supporting data science workflows.
- Familiarity with machine learning or AI workflows and related tooling.
- Exposure to financial domains and mixed-language analytics environments, such as R.
- Experience integrating Generative AI tools into workflows.
