We are open to remote applicant from the whole EMEA region living in promixity to one of our offices. The resource will report directly t o the Global Head of Contract Logistics IT Deployment, with dotted line links into Corporate IT compliance, healthcare vertical and QSHE.
The global head of csv Governance & Standards will define, own, and govern Kuehne+Nagel's global CSV/CSA policy, framework, standards, and decision model across all business units. This role ensures consistent adoption of risk-based validation practices within the IT governance process, while operational CSV execution, audit readiness, and system compliance remain the responsibility of system owners and IT/QA teams.
How you create impact
- Owns the global CSV/CSA policy, framework, standards, and decision-making model, ensuring alignment with SDLC and regulatory expectations.
- Defines when CSV, CSA, or other risk-based approaches apply and embeds these rules into IT processes.
- Provides central governance and expert guidance across all Business Units, Functions, and IT/IS teams working with regulated systems.
- Acts as the senior escalation point for governance-related CSV/CSA issues.
- Ensures the governance model evolves with FDA, EMA, GAMP5, CSA, and broader industry trends, leading the transition from CSV to CSA.
- Owns global templates, risk models, and guidance documents to ensure consistent regulatory interpretation.Builds global capability through training and awareness on CSV/CSA principles and risk-based validation.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders across Corporate IT, QSHE, Healthcare, CL, and InfoSec to ensure alignment and drive adoption.
Requirements
- Strategic Mindset:Ability to define long-term CSV/CSA governance strategy and roadmap.
- Organisational Agility: Experience navigating large matrix organisations and leading cross-business initiatives.
- Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of GAMP5, CSV, CSA, GDP, GMP, ISO 9001, and healthcare regulations.
- Process & Governance Design: Ability to build frameworks, governance standards, and risk-based decision models.
- Risk Management:Strong grasp of risk-based validation principles and methodologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Exceptional communication and influence across functions and levels.
- Training & Development: Ability to raise global capability on CSV/CSA governance.
