Job description

Express Recruitment are working in partnership with a reputable and growing organisation who are looking for a highly analytical and detail-focused Data Analyst to join their team to assist with a heavy workload, due to continued success within the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative environment where data accuracy and operational performance are key priorities.

You will be responsible for analysing operational data, extracting information from digital reporting systems, and ensuring consistency across multiple data sources. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, investigating discrepancies, and working closely with operational teams to maintain data integrity for the purpose of increasing profits on behalf of the business., * Extract and export raw datasets from MS Excel to monitor performance and identify discrepancies

  • Maintain and update master MS Excel spreadsheets, running lists and ensuring data is logged accurately and in line with standardised naming conventions
  • Manage version control to ensure live spreadsheets remain fully functional and error free
  • Reconcile live data against manual Excel logs to identify missing, duplicate or mismatched data
  • Carry out manual data adjustments following verified operational updates
  • Maintain detailed audit trails to document data changes and amendments
  • Communicate with management team to investigate and resolve data anomalies

Requirements

Do you have experience in Power BI?, * Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills essential

  • Previous experience working within reconciliation or analytical roles desirable
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI or other data analysis packages
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and investigative approach
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with operational teams
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple data sources accurately, * UK address history : 3 years (required)

Language:

  • English fluently (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK (required)
