Job description
- You will support the running of the pre-cast concrete department, which employs 5-7 factory operatives responsible for manufacturing and delivering products, taking responsibility for everything outside of physical production., * Preparing and issuing professional quotations
- Processing customer orders
- Ordering raw materials and liaising with suppliers
- Planning and coordinating deliveries, including organising efficient local delivery routes, booking external carriers for non-local consignments, and liaising directly with customers to arrange and confirm delivery times.
- Handling enquiries from cash sale, trade and builders' merchant customers
- Producing simple product drawings for customer approval
- Preparing basic workshop drawings for bespoke mould production
- Managing Outlook communication and organised documentation
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day commercial and operational running of the department
Not all of the above responsibilities will fall to you immediately. As you develop knowledge of our full product range, bespoke variations and operational processes, you will progressively take on greater responsibility.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System administration?, We are now looking to appoint a Pre-Cast Concrete Manager Support with a clear pathway to becoming the Sole Pre-Cast Concrete Manager within 1-3 years, depending on how quickly knowledge and product variations are mastered., We require someone who:
- Is comfortable working independently.
- Has the confidence and ambition to take ownership of a department and lead a team in the future.
- Is organised, commercially aware and detail-driven.
- Takes pride in producing professional quotations and email communication.
- Is confident using Outlook and Excel.
- Has some understanding of pre-cast concrete, steel fabrication, and working with builders' merchants (preferred).
- CAD experience preferred but not essential. (we can train basic drawing requirements).
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants long-term responsibility and the opportunity to manage and develop a manufacturing department over many years., * System administration: 4 years (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
