Job description
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Engineer to join a team focused on enhancing and scaling an existing product in the later stages of production. This role will involve a mix of new feature development and ongoing maintenance, working within established systems rather than pure greenfield builds. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating mature codebases and contributing to incremental product evolution beyond MVP., Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end solutions using React and TypeScript

Contribute to both net-new feature development and enhancements to existing functionality in a production environment, working in large-scale, established applications (non-greenfield environments)

Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate with Java/Spring-based services

Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience

Work within and contribute to design systems and reusable component architectures

Implement and manage feature rollouts using feature flagging tools

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting across the application lifecycle
Requirements
- Strong experience in modern front-end engineering with strong fundamentals in React, TypeScript, and component architecture
- React deep expertise: Hooks, context, suspense, concurrent rendering, render optimization, custom hook design
- Scalable UI architecture: Component composition, design systems, state management patterns (Redux/Zustand/TanStack Query), monorepo/module federation
- Strong TypeScript & JavaScript skills: Advanced types, generics, async patterns, type-safe API contracts
- Backend integration: REST consumption against Java/Spring services, WebSocket and SSE for real-time data, optimistic updates, retry/backoff, error boundaries
-Full-stack development experience with the ability to effectively collaborate with backend teams
-Ability to go onsite 3x a week in Reading, PA -Angular
