Job description
As a Software Engineer at PhoneBurner, you'll help invent and deliver entirely new product experiences powered by large language models (LLMs), intelligent automation, workflows, agents, and real-time communication systems.
You'll work closely with leadership, product, and design teams to rapidly prototype, experiment, iterate, and ship impactful solutions that improve customer engagement and sales productivity.
A Software Engineer is responsible for the following:
- Building AI-powered product experiences that solve real customer problems
- Rapidly prototyping solutions using modern AI tools, frameworks, agents, and automation platforms
- Turning ideas into functional products quickly and efficiently
- Developing intelligent workflows using LLMs, retrieval systems, orchestration tools, and automation technologies
- Improving sales productivity, answer rates, and customer engagement through AI-enhanced experiences
- Working across the technology stack including frontend, backend, APIs, prompts, workflows, infrastructure, and integrations
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product, leadership, and design teams
- Continuously testing ideas, learning from feedback, and improving solutions
- Helping shape and improve AI-first software development processes and best practices
Requirements

- Portfolio of projects, products, experiments, or technical work
Qualifications That Are Not Necessary
- A Computer Science degree
- 10 years of enterprise engineering experience
- To check every traditional "senior engineer" box
