Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a deep passion for synthesizers and music technology. You will be part of a small, highly experienced team of senior-level software developers working fully remotely. This role requires someone who thrives working independently and is comfortable owning features end-to-end.

You will design and develop software that powers our next generation of hardware instruments and software products, working with both embedded Linux systems and desktop platforms., * Develop high-performance software for embedded systems running Linux

• Develop cross-platform applications and plug-ins for macOS and Windows
• Build and optimize real-time audio processing systems
• Full stack product development, from low-level systems to user-facing features
• Collaborate closely with a small, senior team to deliver cohesive musical products
• Contribute to system architecture, performance tuning, and algorithm design
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Do you have experience in OOP?, * Strong proficiency in object-oriented C++

• Solid experience with multi-threaded and concurrent programming
• Hands-on experience developing for embedded systems
• Experience building desktop applications for macOS and/or Windows
• Familiarity with MIDI protocols and digital audio standards
• Experience with real-time system optimization and low-latency programming
• GUI development experience in embedded and/or desktop environments
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in audio software, synthesizers, or music technology
• Experience designing or programming hardware synthesizers or audio plug-ins
• Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks and audio SDKs
• Experience with embedded ARM architectures and toolchains
• Proficiency with digital signal processing (DSP)
