Network Security Engineering Consultant - AWS

We are seeking an experienced AWS Network Security Engineer to support security group implementation and policy enforcement within a DevOps CI/CD environment. The role will focus on managing AWS Security Groups, enhancing security guardrails, and enabling secure self-service capabilities for application teams while aligning with enterprise cloud security standards. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain AWS Security Groups in large-scale cloud environments
• Implement security policy automation within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps, cloud architects, and security teams to enforce security standards
• Develop and maintain security group policies using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Support AWS security framework implementation and documentation

• Strong experience with AWS networking, VPC, and security services
• Expertise managing AWS Security Groups in enterprise environments
• Experience implementing security guardrails in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices

Preferred:

• AWS certifications (Security Specialty / Solutions Architect)
• Experience with ModernizeIT lifecycle or AWS Professional Services engagements

The hourly rate for this position is between $98.00 - $105.00 per hour., Sunrise offers ACA compliant medical coverage/dental insurance/vision insurance to all employees. We also offer Sick time benefits as required per State regulations., + $24.76 per hour
