Job description

We are seeking a Master Planner with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) to lead our end-to-end production planning, materials coordination, and demand forecasting. This role owns the planning function, drives operational efficiency, and ensures our supply chain runs with precision., * Production Planning - Develop, maintain, and optimize master production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, and inventory targets.

  • Business Central MRP - Configure, run, and analyze MRP/MPS processes within BC to ensure accurate supply and demand signals.
  • Inventory Optimization - Maintain optimal stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points using BC planning parameters.
  • Capacity Management - Evaluate resource constraints and adjust schedules to maximize throughput.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with procurement, operations, sales, and finance to align planning with business priorities.
  • Data Accuracy - Ensure item cards, BOMs, routings, and planning parameters are accurate and continuously improved.
  • Reporting & KPIs - Build and maintain planning dashboards and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years experience as a Master Planner, Production Planner, or Supply Chain Planner.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including:
  • MRP/MPS
  • Item planning parameters
  • BOMs & routings
  • Demand forecasting
  • Production orders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related operational environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean, S&OP, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • College degree
  • APICS certification
  • Background in multi-site or high-mix/low-volume environments.
