Job description

We are recruiting a Software System Specialist in Rochester, NY.

Activities:

Support the development of embedded software Develop, test and maintain sub-system specifications Read and understand aircraft systems specifications, break down the aircraft system specifications into sub-system specifications and software requirements documents in accordance with company and industry standard methodologies Be part of all aspects of the system and software development life cycle Propose design methodology for developing aircraft system simulation Create system testing document Provide technical and analytical expertise on the aircraft systems and propose solutions to a variety of technical problems. Communicate with other technical and support personnel Consult to the wider team on all pertinent systems performance Development of system test procedures. Create and document systems level test to validate the design against the requirements. Handle other systems work assignments may be given according to business needs Perform system design and/or analysis functions based on requirements Identification and reporting of defects discovered. Unit and Integration testing of simulation model

Necessary requirements

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. Must have C/C++, C# experience Experience in various software development for systems such as Flight controls, Engines, Sonar / Radar, or Avionics Systems, rail, automotive. Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to develop, co-ordinate, plan, organize, and participate in technical projects
