Job description

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in system design and architecture, cyber security, group policy and account management, virtualization, installation and configuration of applications, system administration and updates, and automation to work with a team of engineers focusing on modernization on an inherited, legacy infrastructure. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you'll troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues on a networked flight simulation environment and analyze current working infrastructures to understand how to make improvements and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical systems. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security-related missions.

Requirements

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in simulation training environments for the United States military? You will need to understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission., * 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer

  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience creating testing plans and procedures
  • Experience setting up ESXI hosts
  • Experience designing and executing Active Directory domain infrastructure, and planning and implementing life cycle replacement
  • Experience setting up and maintaining PXE and software management technologies, such as MECM
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and Tier 3 level troubleshooting
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in Digital Engineering and MBSE
  • Experience implementing containerization and virtualization
  • Experience implementing and configuring various COPs for data distribution
  • Experience working in Modeling and Simulation
  • CASP+ Certification, such as SecurityX, or CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
