Job description
We're looking for a talented Web Developer with strong Umbraco CMS experience to join a growing Development & Delivery team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing a range of client-facing websites and self-service platforms built primarily within Umbraco. You'll work closely with product owners, designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver modern, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both CMS development and Front End web technologies in a collaborative environment where continuous improvement and new ideas are encouraged., * Develop, maintain, and enhance websites built on Umbraco CMS
- Support ongoing improvements to CMS functionality, performance, and usability
- Build responsive and accessible web solutions
- Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve website and CMS-related issues
- Collaborate with product owners, digital teams, and external design agencies
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Support CMS upgrades and platform maintenance
- Contribute to testing processes, including unit and automated testing
- Follow release and deployment processes, including release documentation
- Monitor development progress and support issue resolution in production
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices across web and CMS development
Requirements
- Strong experience working with Umbraco CMS
- Experience with C# and .NET technologies
- Understanding of ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, and CMS-based applications
- Front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience delivering responsive and accessible websites
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Good understanding of modern web development best practices
- Experience working collaboratively with designers and digital teams
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA/Confluence
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Desirable:
- Experience working within large or enterprise-scale environments
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
